We make it our business to know all the key agents and we visit them regularly so our clients are in the forefront of their minds when an enquiry comes in. Often with a high staff turnover, it is essential that new sales team members have had training on the product, and we keep our finger on the pulse of new agencies and new staff.

We have built a good relationships with the leading travel writers and editors of the best travel publications and we liaise with them re journalist visits and editorial opportunities.
We keep on top of market intelligence and send our clients reports on current travel trends and future predictions.
TRADE / CONSUMER TRAVEL SHOWS
We attend all main travel trade shows in the UK and worldwide, including World Travel Market, PURE, We Are Africa and Indaba.
EDUCATIONAL TRIPS / ITINERARY PLANNING
Handpicked Africa will organise, and escort if necessary, educational trips for the tour operators to experience your property first hand. Similarly we will set up a meeting schedule and a complete itinerary if the property owner comes to the UK to do a personal sales tour.
While our marketing efforts are primarily in the UK, Handpicked Africa has built up an excellent database of global tour operators. We email them regularly and conduct at least two optional overseas marketing trips per year.
It is our job to react quickly and positively to a crisis or sudden challenge, ensuring the right message is projected and damage is minimised.
